What causes neck lines and wrinkles?
Several factors contribute towards neck wrinkles and lines. Sun exposure, genetics, and repeated motions of the neck are some of the most common causes.

Neck bands are medically referred to as platysmal bands. They are muscles located on the sides of the neck. As you age and you lose collagen and fat deposits around the neck, these muscles become much more prominent. Clenching your teeth, weight loss, and stress can all contribute towards more prominent neck bands.
